For sale is a beautiful and well-looked-after Porsche Boxster 986 2.7 manual convertible, in Meridian Metallic, a black roof and black leather interior. The car has 93,000 miles and presents very well in its deep silver colour.
 
The vehicle is in very good condition, with minimal wear and tear inside and only a few small stone chips on the nose to comment on outside.
 
Mechanically it is superb, with a detailed service history, including service stamps and numerous invoices - including the all important IMS and RMS replacement at the same time as a new clutch. Most recently, the car was looked after by Lee @ Cotswold Porsche Specialists and recommendations don't come much higher than that!
 
On the road, the 986 is small, light and with excellent balance. The controls have superb weight to them, making driving quickly effortless - it's a car you can jump in and feel right at home driving quickly.
 
The car benefits from the recent fitment of 4 new Toyo tyres and an oil and filters service at 92,500 miles. As such, it wants for nothing, having had a new hood with glass rear window fitted by a previous owner - I'm pleased to report that it is 100% watertight!
 
It's a great car and an appreciating asset - having driven both extensively, I would conclude by saying that it gives you 80% of the 996 911 driving/ownership experience, for a third of the value - crazy!
