SOLD! 1993 Mazda MX-5 Mk1 Eunos Roadster 1.8

For sale is a 1993 Laguna Blue Mazda MX-5 Eunos Roadster, in excellent condition and low miles, having been imported from Japan, where they don't salt the roads and they don't drive very far! 
 
It is the 4 cylinder 1.8 version, with manual transmission.
 
The car has covered just 126,000 km or 78,000 miles and the condition reflects this. The paintwork, whilst not flawless, has a lovely shine and very little swirling. The sills show little to no rot having been repaired by a previous owner. There are a few stone chips, but overall, as you can see from the pictures, she presents very nicely indeed for her age. 
 
The tan hood is in excellent condition and is miraculously fully waterproof - it matches perfectly the tan interior, which again shows some signs of use (particularly the driver's side bolster), but scrubs up very nicely indeed and everything works as it should, including the electric windows. There is a very tasteful Nardi wood steering wheel, which is lovely in use.
 
On the road the Mazda feels lively and enthusiastic, thriving on revs and making a lovely sound through the upgraded MazdaSpeed exhaust. A previous owner has fitted an uprated camshaft, which provides a great spread of torque and pull at the top end, at the expense of a slightly lumpier idle than standard. There is sharp steering, minimal roll and good brake feel. With the wind in your hair, it's hard not to smile when at the wheel! 
 
There is a good service history with the car, including a full service in the last month, including plugs and a new coil pack fitted. All 4 tyres are good quality Toyo Proxes CF2 with plenty of tread left.
 
All in all, a lovely little example of the coveted Eunos MX-5, in a desirable colour combination, with low mileage and good provenance. One to use and enjoy!
