SOLD! 1954 Morris Minor Split Screen 4 Door Saloon

For sale is this beautiful 1954 Split Screen Series 2 Morris Minor 4 door, in Birch Grey with Maroon interior. 
It's a charming vehicle, with 60,000 recorded miles and 70 years(!) under its wheels, it has lived a life. Accordingly and testament to its genuine originality, it has some lovely patina and some areas of wear and tear, but has aged and now presents exceptionally well. 
The Series 2 retains the charm of the older models, but feels a bit more modern in driving - the 803cc A-Series inline four pulls well in all four gears, starts eagerly and even returns decent fuel economy! 
There are some nice bits of history with the car documenting the care it has had over the years. The Moggy has recently had a substantial sum spent on it, including brake and suspension rebuilds; wax oiling and a conversion to negative earth. We have also carried out an oil and filter service for peace of mind. 
Inside, the Minor has recently new carpets throughout, seats in good condition (some wear to the driver's seat and a rip to the top of the back seat) and a headliner that would benefit from replacement at some point (a replacement is included in the sale). 
Ready for its next owner to enjoy, a beautiful Minor which has been well looked after and is remarkably original and evocative.
